Murray Wedding at the Barn at Indian Ridge

When Natalie and Justin called to see if I could photograph their wedding, I knew we would be a great fit. She said they booked the Barn at Indian Ridge, which is right down the street from me, and that they are from New Jersey! I had done a wedding there the year prior, and couldn’t wait to do another.

My new couple describe their relationship as best friends who love to do everything together. They love each others company and are both very close with their families, especially their parents. They prefer quiet nights home cooking dinner, sharing their day, watching some Netflix and relaxing. Right up our alley!

They loved our photography style overall. That’s an important piece of our business because its our personality beyond the camera. You have to be comfortable with the vendor who’s going to be closest to you for the entire day.

Natalie and Justin’s love story started later in life than most of their friends who were already married with kids, but they knew what they wanted and were ready to give their all to have a happily ever after. Every day they say, “Thank God we found each other”. They truly appreciate and respect each other, and want to still feel that way when they look back at their wedding album in 20 years. Hashtag togetherness is what they say.

This couple was down for anything, even piggy back rides. We knew this because of the questionnaire they completed so we could get to know them better before the wedding. It makes portrait time go much more smooth and fun when you can have some “poses” in mind ahead of time that you know your couple will enjoy. It’s also the best way to capture beautifully raw emotions in our photos.

Our only problem with Natalie and Justin’s wedding, is that we will probably not get the chance to work together again due to the distance. …but wow do we have some amazing pictures!
